This shot was taken out of my sun room window , the Little Wattle bird was feeding in my neighbors Bottle Brush tree.Time
This photo was taken on the 19/01/2020 at 10.40 am. The house protects the tree from the harsh summer mornings sun. I love taking photos of these birds as they're always up to something.I find their stripy plumage striking.Lighting
I like this shot as the the foliage and flowers of the tree wrap around the bird.Making it a striking image.Equipment
Olympus EM1MKII , Panasonic 100-400 lens , shot at 400mm , F6.3 , 1/1000 .Inspiration
The postilion of the bird in the tree & the striking colours & contrast. Wildlife & Landscapes are my favourite subjects to photograph.Editing
I use Luminar 4 for processing my photos & Topaz Denoise .In my camera bag
I normally have in my bag an Olympus EM1MKII , Olympus Pen-F , 12-40mm Pro lens , 40-150mm Pro lens & the Panasonic 100-400mm lens My dream lens would be the new Olympus 150-400mm Pro lens but $13000;00 Australian money is way out of my budget.Feedback
Keep shooting , watch You tube , listen & try the advice. If it works use it. I've let Covid 19 slow me down & I'm trying to get out more like I used to. We've been lucky in Australia that we haven't had to endure the lock downs like other countries. I don't know if it wasn't feeling safe or guilt that we had more freedom than others that kept me from venturing out but I'm setting some new goals and dates to explore my local area . As well as few trips in Australia to a few destinations that I want to photograph.
