This photo was taken at Main Beach, Nambucca Heads, NSW, Australia on the 4th of December. It;s about a 10 minute walk from my house & I was walking my dog on this morning.Lucky for me it was a stunning sunrise.Time
Photo was taken around 5.30 a.m. on a beautiful summer morning. It's one of my dogs favorite places , he loves the beach & the water.Lighting
I was carry my camera with me hoping for a colorful sunrise or to find something interesting to shoot. This morning didn't disappoint , a stunning sunrise & some surfers .Equipment
I used an Olympus Pen-F with the 9-18 mm Olympus lens. Love my Pen-F , being a Micro Four Thirds camera , I can carry the camera plus a couple of lenses in a small bag. No tripod , most of my photos are handheld.Inspiration
I took a few shoots this morning but this one is my favorite one. I love the composition of this shot, the colour & light came together. I have alone surfer in the left of the image , the cliff face on the right & the reflection of the sunrise in the receding water.Editing
I use Luminar 4 & Aurora HDR to process my photos . This photo has just basic editing to it. I have a lot to learn about editing my photos & photography.In my camera bag
In my Olympus Pen-F bag I carry , the camera , a couple of spare batteries , 9-18mm lens, 25mm lens, 45mm lens & a 75mm lens. Plus the usual cleaning clothes & blower. This all fits in a small over the shoulder bag.Feedback
My main advise is have your camera on you all the time. The amount of times I think argh I just walk the dog & leave my gear at home. Then an amazing photo opportunity will present itself , them I'm kicking myself for being lazy.
