About a year ago, I had a few weeks in-between places of employment. During this stressful time, my wife pitched the idea of using my freed up schedule to take photography trips that I otherwise would not have had time for. ⁣⁣

Her suggestion of focusing on my love for nature through photography and having faith that everything else would work out, boosted my motivation and inspired me to further develop my creative process. Her support for my continual pursuit of capturing the world around us has been unceasing, even when it leads me away from my family.⁣⁣

This photograph was one of many taken during that time. The soft and gentle tones in this image, while at the same time remaining strong and steadfast in its foundation, remind me of her. Whom I am forever grateful for. ⁣⁣
