The often forgotten surroundings of a place give context and enhance awareness of the delicate characteristics and encompassing beauty. Slowing down and searching for hidden features helps me be more mindful and present in the moment and increases my connection with nature. ⁣

Regularly we only see the iconic shots shared on social media and forgo what they are encompassed by. We ignore the surrounding environments and how they can be easily trodden down and destroyed. Awareness and respect for the smaller scenes can give places deeper meaning and invoke a sense of stewardship for protecting them.⁣
