Location
I took this photo on a rest trip that I took to a small town in Colombia called Garzon in the department of Huila. Near there is a very touristy dam, the Quimbo dam. Many locals hate it, because it flooded many lands and brought damage to their economic activities.Time
Take the photo around 4 pm, while taking a boat ride on the dam.Lighting
For being such an late hour, the light was very acceptable, it gave very nice reflections in the water and also the clouds looked very beautifulEquipment
This shot on Canon 6D Mark ii, with Canon 24-105mm L f4. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
I like landscapes and being able to see them in a different way than everyone sees them, that's why when I go on vacation I try to go to those beautiful places and portray themEditing
I took 3 photos then processed in Lightroom from the original RAW, in this case the light was very strong, so I had to take 3 shots in order to make an HDR. Then fuse them and go up a little high and lowIn my camera bag
Usually when I'm going to take landscape photographs I wear my Canon 80D camera and use lenses such as the Canon 10-17 f / 3.5mm or the Tamron 17-50 f / 2.8. But when I work portraits I prefer my Canon 6d Mark ii and lenses like the Canon 50 f / 1.8 or the Canon 24-105 mm f / 4 L. They are my favoriteFeedback
Yes, go out to look for very different places, know the edges of your city, make different plans, look for inspiration in nature, go exploring with great caution but curiosity
