This one was taken high up in low clouds. Autumn is coming to an end and Winter is arriving. Within the clouds, it was ice cold, and outside of the clouds, it was relatively warm in comparison. Overnight a heavy hoar frost had formed on the trees but the grass had been left protected resulting in what you see here. The branches covered in frost and the ground looking like spring. What you can0t see here is the way that each time the sun broke through the clouds it would melt the frost enough to allow pieces of ice to fall to the ground. It sounded like thousands f tiny bells ringing out through the forest.
