The Chaxa Lagoon is part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve, placed in the middle of the Salar de Atacama, and located at an altitude of 2300 meters. It's a spectacularly beautiful setting where you can appreciate a lagoon divided into several lakes, where salt crusts are especially abundant and diverse communities of flamingos inhabit. The salt contents vary from 10 to 25%.
