Very young eastern cottontail rabbit popped out of the garden when my mom was watering her bed of yarrow. It was a bit too young to be out by itself so she stopped her watering and we gently shooed it back to the yarrow garden. It's hard to judge the size with these images, but the little guy was smaller than the palm of my hand, and my hand is not very big. The mother bunny has been spotted nearby frequently.
