i looked out in the fields near Oconaluftee in Smokies but, it was so foggy that if there were elk, they couldn't be seen. then this guy came strutting out of the thickest part of the white. he's obviously been fighting...he has broken tines and this was at the beginning of the rut this year. he was beautiful standing there. worth getting up super early for.
