Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the east bank of Thames river in London.

Time

I shot this picture at the evening, a little after the sunset.

Lighting

The lights of the bridge illuminate nicely the surrounding area, creating an interesting reflection on the water.

Equipment

It was shot on a Nikon D750 with a 24-120 f4 Nikkor on a tripod with the help of a wired declanser.

Inspiration

I really love architecture and the Tower Bridge in London is a famous architectural landmark that I loved and had planned to photograph during my 6-day excursion.

Editing

I darkened the highlights to have better detail on the lights on the bridge and increased the contrast and vibrance to pronounce the color of the sky.

In my camera bag

I have my Nikon D750 and two Nikkor lenses, the 24-120 f4 and the 50 f1.8. I also usually carry an external flash and a declanser, if I plan to take pictures at night.

Feedback

You should be careful as to where to put your tripod so as it doesn't slip into the water or get hit by passersby!
