Location
This image was captured in one of Ontario’s provincial parks.... Lake of Two Rivers in Algonquin Park.Time
Hoping to catch a sunrise over the lake, it was very foggy and quite cool, barely above the freezing point. This is as far as my kayak made it that morning.Lighting
Early mornings provide wonderful soft light when it is foggy like this.Equipment
I use a Canon 6d camera with my 24- 70 mm f2.8L 11 USM. This is my go to lens.Inspiration
Since it was too cold to actually go kayaking and the sunrise was very subdued I decided to include the kayak in the image for a point of interest.Editing
I did the usual editing for clarity, saturation, cropping... nothing too major. In my camera bag
I usually carry my 24-70L lens and a 70-200. If I am going for wildlife I will include my Canon 100-400.Feedback
Get up in the morning.... it’s worth it!
