This series may be my favorite of the bird pictures I took while in Big Bend National Park during June 2019. This cactus wren landed next to me and posed next to the beautiful cholla cactus flower. Notice that the bird's feet do not seem to be bothered by the prickly cactus thorns.

After crossing the Chobe river this elephant immediately started to cover itself in dust which apparently acts as a sunscreen and keeps insects away by ayoung1969
