Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken during a beautiful wedding, outside a small country church, just after the ceremony.

Time

It was taken in spring, immediately after 12:30, after the church ceremony, with the midday sun.

Lighting

I took advantage of the lights / shadows created by the trees outside the church, with the sun shining without flash.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon 7D, with a EF 70-200mm L. No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

I was trying to photograph the emotion on the bride's radiant face, while all the guests were congratulating her and I was looking for the obstacle-free shot. It was difficult because the bride was constantly moving and changing the shooting angle.

Editing

I corrected the white balance, luminosity and bokeh background.

In my camera bag

Of course it depends on what I have to go to photograph; for a wedding in my bag there is always a wide angle, a 50mm, a 70-200mm, tripod and flash.

Feedback

In a wedding there are many situations to consider and photograph, the weather, the location, the guests, etc.: my advice is to go and see the place before the ceremony and get to know the couple a little to understand what they want from you exactly . In the bag carry enough material to shoot in any situation. That was a wonderful day!
