Location
Taken in the road next to our accommodation whilst renovating our Medieval Fort.Time
As soon as it got dark, I am a morning person so don't cope well lasting into the night time...Lighting
This was the first photo shoot after getting a torch that pulsated. Ironically the torch stopped working shortly after this shoot. Spend more for quality, I have learnt my lesson...!Equipment
Canon 450D, can't remember the lens, definitely tripod and timer plus a cheap pulsating torch which promptly stopped working. I have never been able go afford Eric Pares light tubes so this is a shampoo bottles with the label removed...Inspiration
Love Eric Pare and have been lightpainting for years...Editing
Probably had to remove telephone cables so if the stars are looking strange, don't be surprised...!In my camera bag
Canon 450D and a 50mm lens back in the day, nowadays Canon 7D mk II, several lenses, triggers and two speedlites...Feedback
Invest in some lightpainting tubes, I have spent five plus years trying to find some (free) alternatives and still haven't found any. Not in rural France anyways...
