This thistle is just starting to really bloom. I caught it in the morning before the heat of the day evaporated the dew. All the tiny droplets are literally 'grabbed' from the very air around it to provide it the water it requires for the day. Here in central Texas, this is how the flowers survive the Summer Level heat and still manage to blossom throughout the late Spring and Summer.
