Behind The Lens

Location
Sossusvlei in the Namib desert, Namibia

Early morning g, before it got too hot
Lighting
Natural lighting, the sun was just coming up.
Equipment
Canon DSLR mid range zoom
Inspiration
The tranquillity of this place makes people evaluate their lives. This image portrayed this to perfection.
Editing
Just a little sharpening
In my camera bag
On this occasion, I knew that I would probably only visit this place one. It was obviously very sandy and I didn't want to change lenses so I carried two canon DSLRs one with a wide angle zoom and one with a mid-range zoom. The temperature was getting into the 40's when we left and we walked for several m miles in the heat and on the hot sand....but it was all very much worth it.
Feedback
You need to travel, but plan things so that when you get to your destination you make the most of it.
