Another book cover I was commissioned for. Planet earth has become mostly submerged by water, with few survivors. Some of them find an island of rubbish, but dry land is far harder to reach.
I chose the Aussie continent as being one of the few places of land still left because the author gave his story an Australian setting, and it seemed appropriate to model the island of rubbish from the existing, real, island of human rubbish located off the American continent (approximated locality, and closer to South America, if I'm not mistaken).
