An attempt at some still life. The best part of this type of photography, is that the props can be eaten afterwards.

Nice picture! Where did you get the Razorback Beer ? I'm from Arkansas in the U.S. and the University of Arkansas' sports teams are called the Razorbacks.

Location
In my dining room....funny enoughTime
Evening, as I didn't want there to be much ambient lightLighting
I waited until it was dark, but left the curtain open to my dining room. This left a very small of light in. I then used the candle to produce some extra light...and of course the reflections.Equipment
I used a tripod as the exposure was quite a long one.Inspiration
I physical disability makes it difficult for me to carry out the motorsport photography that I have loved. I am therefore looking at different genres to find one of particular interest. This was one of my attempts at still life photography. It was completely contrived, but I had seen the image in my minds eye before setting it up. The props were things I found lying around the house. The best thing about this kind of photography, is that I had to drink the beer and the b read and pate afterwards.Editing
I just didi a little darkening of the blacks, decreased the shadows and lowered any digital noise. In my camera bag
On this occasion I was using an olympus setup with a tripod.Feedback
Look at other photographer's work, spend time on view bug looking at some of the amazon g images on there and get some inspiration. Sure, photographs of most things have been done before, but you can emulate images and put your own photohgraphic flair into them.
