-about the shot-
In winter it is not unusual for me to get up early in the morning to go to the beach.
The night before catching this shot I checked the forecast, the sea the next morning had to be very rough, so I decided to go early to the beach.
The weather was perfect, the storm was just over, there was only a light rain but no wind, this allowed me to stay at the beach a couple of hours to find the right crop and the correct shutter speed.
Yes, because the right shutter speed is not so obvious.
I think that correctly exposing the stormy sea is like a painter who paints on the canvas, a time too long flattens too much the waves, while a shutter speed too fast freeze the action of the waves and does not give at the final image the sensation of movement.
