-about the shot-
I took this photo from the top of "Doss del Sabion", during a weekend of excursions in Val Rendena - Val Genova.
I love using the tele lens in landscape photography, especially when I'm shooting mountains, I'm able to select the detail that at that time catch me and I can isolate it from the rest of the landscape.

-about the place-
The Cima Presanella (3,558m) is the highest peak of the Adamello-Presanella mountain group as well as one of the highest mountains in the Trentino. At the foot of the Cima Presanella, there is the high mountain valley Val di Genova.
This mountain is perfectly suitable for a high alpine tour, as the route is not too difficult. Nevertheless you should be sure of step and free from giddiness, as some passagges are quite exposed. If the view is really clear you might even see Milan and Venice!
The first ascent of the Cima Presanella was made by Douglas William Freshfield, H.A. Beachcroft, I.D. Walker, along with two alpine guides.
