Location
This photo was taken on a farm in upstate New York, about 2 hrs from New York City. It was during a snow storm. I went out walking with my camera. A National Geographic photographer once told me, "every so often, turn around to see the view from a different way". That is what I did, I turned around and took this photo. It is one of my favorites. I had it made into an 11 x 14, matted/framed and hanging in my home.Time
This was during a snow storm about 2pm in the afternoon.Lighting
It really came out looking black and white, there was no color around!Equipment
I think this was taken with my old Pentax, no flash or anything special.Inspiration
I love taking photos in the Winter and in snow. It is perfect for black and white.Editing
I don't think so, it's been about 4 yrs, so I really don't remember. I was just starting out and didn't know how to do much post-processing.In my camera bag
I always carry my old Pentax and my Canon Rebel EOS SL1, with 2 lenses (one up to 70mm and the other up to 300mm).Feedback
Always look behind you, the view looks different and might just be what you are looking for! Try different angles, for some really interesting photos!
