I took this photo on Hawaii's famous Title Bay Resort.Time
I really just have to guess about the time. I have been to Hawaii five times and all of them have been in January & February so I would say around 6 or 7 in the evening.Lighting
The sun light is amazing especially at sunset in Hawaii, the clouds help with composition and as a diffuser. I have been here 3 different times and on this trip I came away with some of my best photos ever.Equipment
I used my 5d mark 4 Canon and my 16/35 lens with my manfrotto try pod.Inspiration
My inspiration was just the Beauty of it all. I wanted to get the sun rays coming out of the clouds shinning down across the water. I am a Pisces so water just seems to call my name and of course I came running.Editing
Editing this was really easy take the highlights down bring up the shadows then go to the color ad a little blue, green, yellow, and a little orange that's it.In my camera bag
I use Canon cameras and lenses. I use Manfrotto try pod.Feedback
Honestly it took me like six years to get this shot. I have driven across the Big Island 5 times to get photos at water falls one time I could not even get out of the car because the rain was so hard and lasted for hours. Keep going back don't give up because at some point the beauty will show it self again. Happy shooting be save and have fun freezing time.
