It was around mid-day, and that is what I like about macro at home/studio setting, with the right lighting these photos can be taken at anytime of day, and as well with as much time needed to refine them.Lighting
With macro I like to bring out the subject's texture, colour or a focus or message. This photo was focusing on the bright rainbow colours as well as the lines, a photo light box is ideal for these type of macro shots and lit up the colours.Equipment
Nikon D600 is currently my only and go-to camera, along with AF-S 105mm VR macro lens and a tripod. Lighting is important as mentioned prior, and I utilized a photo light box that is perfect for macro shots. That's it.Inspiration
Photography is my hobby and I love it, enjoy all types of shots from landscape, portraits, wildlife to macro, especially excited with outdoor nature photographs. However, since I was involved in an accident last Summer, I had not been able to do much outdoor photography during this recovery period (currently still), but I'm not holding myself off of this. I put my focus on indoor macros where I can pursue to where my passion is, and I certainly hope I can be out in the nature again soon, not missing the wonderful Spring photography period.Editing
In my routine I will touch-up my photos on any imperfections, and as well minimal adjustments to brightness, contrast, etc. Similarly some minor adjustments were made but that was all.In my camera bag
