Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Cleveland Point Queensland.

Time

This was taken about 3PM

Lighting

No

Equipment

A Canon EOS 5D with a 24-70 mm f2.8L USM shot at f11 at 1/640 at 100 ISO.

Inspiration

I like to do a bit of storm chasing when I can. On this day I happen to be over to visit my Mum, who lives at Cleveland, when I herd some thunder and looked out to see a small storm moving across Cleveland and out to sea.I drove down to the Cleveland Point and took the shot that you see here.

Editing

Yes. I did a colour balance and darken the blue in the sky and that was it.

In my camera bag

I run a Canon EOS 5D mk3 body with a 24-70 mm f2.8L USM, a EF70-200mm f2.8L IS USM and a EF16-35mm f2.8 II USM.

Feedback

Being in the right place at the right time helps. Then spend the time taking shots and watching how the cloud changers form.
