I took this photo while hiking on the trail to Vernal Falls in Yosemite National Park. The scene is of a distant waterfall, surrounded by steep mountains. The contrasts between the rocky terrain, the distant waterfall, the creek, the trees in the foreground and the sky in the background made for a particularly impressive image.
