Location

This picture was shot less than a mile from my home in rural Illinois.

Time

The time of day was noon

Lighting

It was not a sunny day and I just shot what I saw. The natural light made the contrast between light and dark perfect.

Equipment

I used an iphone

Inspiration

It was early Sunday morning on the way home from church. The tire tracks in the snow caught my attention. The roads were terrible for driving but the winter day was beautiful. I took the picture through my car window..

Editing

I did very little adjusting. The natural light was perfect.

In my camera bag

I fell into photography when I purchased my first iPhone. I paint landscapes and flowers with watercolor and that has helped me to see beauty in a different way.

Feedback

Don’t try too hard to make changes to a shot that you love. You don’t always need expensive equipment to have success.
