Greetings from Southwest Colorado on this chilly day! I'm getting ready to release a new gallery of images on my website filled with my favorite images from my 13-day trip around the State of Colorado in September and October. Among them is this image of one of the most unique and special trees I've found. This tree sits on the edge of a cliff on the backside of Huntsman Ridge near Marble, Colorado away from any known trails. The last light of the day beamed in from the southwest (left of the tree) and made for a really special scene. I love stumbling upon shots like this in the wild. I hope you also enjoy it.
