Before heading into Deadvlei, Namibia I realized there must be thousands of photos taken here every year. I've seen a lot of them and I wanted to capture something different. I wanted to show Deadvlei from another angle. Mist had rolled in that morning which created quite an eery look and feel.I headed west of the vlei and discovered a lower section. This way I was able to capture the cracked Deadvlei "floor" at eye level. Something a little different.
