Location
This was taken on a friends balcony in CardiffTime
I think it was sometime in the afternoon, it was a random spur of the moment shoot, we were just sat there and had a few drinks as I was visiting friends and we just decided to try something funLighting
Nothing fancy about the lighting, it was completely natural light, no flashEquipment
I used a Canon 5D mkll and if honest I cannot remember which lens I used now probably my 70-200 2.8 as that is my go to lens for literally everything. No tripod, all hand held, no flash.Inspiration
I have done quite a few photo shoots with powder and dancers and this was just a random shoot that was completely unplanned that we did on my friends balcony. We had had a few drinks and thought it was a good idea to throw powder in peoples faces.Editing
Not a lot of post processing, just the usual tweaks, and a little bit of sharpeningIn my camera bag
I have two Canon bodies a 70-200 2.8mm and a 24-105mm. A flash, batteries, sensor cleaner, a cloth, and sometimes I pack in my 2.8 60mm macro lens.Feedback
Just have fun and see what happens, powder is unpredictable and never does the same thing twice.
