Location
The photo was taken in Orgosolo (Sardinia) last summer. I was wandering through the narrow streets of this city famous for the many murals present. At a certain point my gaze fell on the windowsill of this window. Great creativity of the owner!Time
The photo was taken around 4pm on 8 August 2018. It was an afternoon with the sky overcast and without shadows and sun.Lighting
No particular suggestion for lighting that was completely natural and perfect for the type of photo.Equipment
To take this picture I used my Nikon D850 equipped with the Nikon 70-200. Used focal length 200mm; iso 100; f / 2.8; 1/100; spot detection. No flash and free-hand shootingInspiration
Inspiration is easy to understand. It is curious to find old boots used as pots for plants!Editing
No post production except the balancing of lights and shadows with Raw cameraIn my camera bag
Currently I always start for my photo sessions with the two Nikon camera bodies (D850 and D5) and the three basic Nikon lenses composed from 14-24; 24-70 and 70-200. The 85 f / 1.4 and the 2x duplicator (also Nikon) is often present.Feedback
No particular advice to make this shot. Only knowing how to observe. I was in Orgosolo to document the many murals present but I have not lost this curious (and beautiful) use of old boots.
