Sometimes, nature is the best therapy!
I was originally worried about the smoke from the nearby Rattlesnake Creek forest fire, and was concerned that it would mess up my photos, but I think it actually added a lot to this photo! The fire is burning just behind the rock face on the left, and the smoke really played off of the light to give me some amazing coloration in the sky, and a really cool effect on the horizon!
This is the trail from the fire lookout, heading back down the ridge, with Seven Devils standing prominently in the background.
