The Weather was warm and ice was melting on the river it created this dense fog all along the river and I decided to snap a picture of the Walnut St Bridge in Harrisburg PA. This Bridge was torn apart by a flood (I saw it happen) 2 Parts remain. One side is now a walkway from Harrisburg to City Island, the other side (this one) is in Wormleysburg and some people use it to watch the fireworks, reflect or go fishing. It just looked so eerie I had to capture it.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo of the Walnut Street Bridge from the Wormleysburg Side of the Susquehanna River. There was ice on the river that day, and it started warming up and it had rained, and the ice on the river started making fog, there was fog everywhere and it was so thick It was hard to see. I pulled over and took a walk to the river for some shots, and the bridge was irresistible. It looks as though the bridge just stops. In reality that is exactly what it does do. This bridge was damaged in a flood, and just part of it remains. The other side of the Bridge on the Harrisburg side is used as a walking bridge that leads to City Island. Where the Harrisburg Senators Baseball Team plays.

Time

This happened to be about 10:30 am.

Lighting

All Natural, I never retouched this photo.

Equipment

My old LG Artisto

Inspiration

I like seeing things like clouds on the water and weird weather. This particular storm was really weird, and the way the fog was coming up from the river made it look so spooky.

Editing

No, this picture like many of my other shots remains untouched.

In my camera bag

I had a great cannon but it was stolen from me. All of the shots you see come from either my LG Artisto or my new Samsung A32 5G.

Feedback

Go with the flow, if you see something that captivates you, it may just do the same for someone else. Take your shot!
