Location
This was taken last summer, I was coming home after a thunderstorm and saw some low lying clouds so I chased them down about 20 minutes from my home. I found them in front of the Rockville Bridge in Marysville PA. I took a series of shots that day and I love them all and will be sharing more of them soon.Time
I believe it was around 10:30 am, I was headed home from the grocery store and it had just stopped raining after a thunderstorm had passed. I couldn't help myself!Lighting
The sun was up just enough to add a purple sheen to the water near the shoreline, and it just looked beautiful.Equipment
This was a shot from my LG Artisto mobile phone. No flash, no filter, no tripod, no nothing, just a plain shot from the camera phone, nice and simple.Inspiration
As I was driving home it looked as though in the distance there was a cloud lying on the river. I just had to check it out, I didn't even stop home, I just kept driving because I did not want to miss an opportunity that I hardly ever see.Editing
I just adjusted the picture clarity a little. In my camera bag
I always carry my smartphone an LG Artisto (yes, the old one) I have a digital camera, but I haven't mastered it yet, and I am getting ready to dust it off soon and try again.Feedback
"Find something that is beautiful to you, hunt it down and...shoot it!" If you do it with your camera, It's not illegal.(unless it's porn)
