I must have walked passed this flower over a dozen times. Completely dismissing it for its droopy, beat up appearance. Then, as I searched for my composition, something interesting started to happen. . .this one, beat-up flower that I completely ignored, now began to stand out to me. It started to slowly tell me its story . I began to almost see its struggle for survival. I could see every thunderstorm it endured, every gust of wind it had to hold on tight for, I saw every cold night that tried to freeze it and I saw every battle it fought with the bugs and animals trying to eat it. Suddenly I saw its beauty, suddenly I saw Life.
