Shot on a snowy Winter's day in 2016 at the Nooksack River in Northwest Washington State. For this photo I was on a road above the river shooting through serious tree cover. The shot is handheld using a Nikon D810 and a Tamron 150-600mm lens. The cold made holding still difficult especially with the long lens. The photo has been cropped.
