This photo was shot not because of the pinecone but the webs strung between the needles. I never found the creature that spun them, I was curious if it was a spider or a caterpillar. The location is Wasatch Mountain State Park in Utah. Handheld under natural light. I really like the bokeh created by the light on the other side of the tree.
