I saw the butterfly and new I wouldn't get too close so I shot with a Nikon D500 and handheld Tamron 150-600mm lens. I had no idea the beetle was on the flowers until I viewed the image on the computer. The location is the Wasatch Mountain Golf Course in Midway, Utah and the time was just after 9:00 AM.
