Full moon the night before which a lot of Balinese think thats why the volcano erupted sending ash high into the sky, creating a lot of problems especially for airlines and Denpassar airport to close down. Having never seen a volcano erupt and being 30 minutes away from getting a good view of it erupting was amazing to see.
