I Love driving and Adventure and I this particular day it was Ross , Tasmania, and it was near the historic bridge bulit by convicts early 19th century.Time
I arrived in Ross early afternoon and waited for the sun to set late afternoon, and wow!, was it worth the wait a nice red glow sunset.Lighting
I am a amateur photographer, so exposure are sometimes hit and miss, especially when your shooting into the sun, my focus was to capture the red in the river, but today it all just came together sky, bridge and water, to create this haunting and stunning image.Equipment
I have only 1 camera, its a cannon D500 DSLR and a very cheap tripod.Inspiration
Tasmania is rich with nature and History, in my seach for photography shoots i usually set out for both. Often i shoot from early morning before sunrise or sunset. I am very insipired by the Tasmanian landscape.Editing
The only post processing is usually level correction and enhance saturation with Photoshop in this case ive tweak the contrast to bring out the darkness in clouds to create that eerie feeling. In my camera bag
I not a pro, so i have very limited supplys im adding more filters such as infared filters for experimentation. But my gear consis of DSLR and tripod.Feedback
Ummm shoot lots, bracket your shots. Try different exposure such as sky, bridge, water, look for the middle ground, i work this way as im a skilled post production photographer so my actual shots just need to capture all the information, like tones hightslight and shadows and correct exposure. It makes the post production much easier. My advice is experiment and learn, and shoot at similar times and scenes to get better at it. It took me years to achieve a shot like this.
