The "TÚNEL DO ROSSIO" is a railway infrastructure that allows the access of the compositions to the Rossio Station, in the center of Lisbon, from the Campolide Station, thus making up the initial segment of the Sintra Line.
The tunnel has a double track with two thousand six hundred and thirteen meters (2613) of extension - coincidentally the 25 de Abril Bridge has the same length - and a vaulted profile of eight meters wide by six meters of height until the closing of the vault. The slope is about 1%, descending 24.25 meters from the mouth in Campolide.
