I took this pic in the backyard of the dog owner. I heards that there is a young dog and asked them if i could take some pictures. Which was a great idea.Time
It was in the morning, kust about 10 am. It was a little bit cloudy the day and not so much sonshine was present - you would assume that - but the lightstreak and the light in the backgorund was totally done in photoshop.Lighting
Absolute only natural light - It's totally the light we had in the garden + the lightstreak from an jpegEquipment
i used a sony alpha 7 for this picture.Inspiration
I wanted to have some space in the fore- and background to isolate the subject. Than i took this picture of him sitting in front of me.Editing
Oh yes. I did basic adjustments with the raw converter and handed the pic over the photoshop. There i added more contrast a vignette and finally added the lightstreak on the right side. So that it looked like light is coming from the right top corner, shining in from the top of the hedgeIn my camera bag
2 Sony bodies (7RIII and III) 35mm 1.4, 55mm 1.8, 70-200mm 2.8 / 85mm 1.4 and or 16-35mm 2.8Feedback
Go out and take pictures of things you like - Try to see the light and the scenery and take great pictures. I hand them over to raw processors and usually finally let them pop out by using photoshop with masks and layers. This steps are totally individual and you have to find the worklfow that suits you best.
