Speaking from a place of unwanted experience, I think this is a smug and socially irresponsible photo i see the message, but feel lied to regardless. The model might as well be flipping off hedda nussbam

Behind The Lens

Location
This picture was taken in a studio.
Time
It was in the afternoon but the time of the day doesn't matter here because it was created using a permanent light source with a big soft box
Lighting
This pic was take with a permanent led light source with a big soft box
Equipment
This pic was taken a while ago with my - meanwhile sold - Canon 7D MK II with is a great cam. The light came from a continuous led (Studio) light with a big octa soft box. the studio light had 200 W.
Inspiration
Well this was kind pf creative flow. We got creative with some colors from a watercolor palette and tipped the fingers around the eye. Afterwards a little bit white mascara and a little drop for a tear. This was my favorite shoot from a series of pics that I had taken.
Editing
Yes of course. I prepared the image with Lightroom. I do the basic adjustments in Lightroom and hand the pic over to photoshop. There usually my steps are liquify and skin retouch additional with dodge and burn. Afterwards I work a lot with colograding on different layers and with blending modes and masks.
In my camera bag
Now I have in my bag a Sony alpha 7 R M III and as backup a 7 M III. Glas I use: Sony: 35mm 1.4 / 85mm 1.4 / 70-200mm 2.8 / 16-35mm 2.8 and Sigma 24mm 1.4. Sometimes I use flashes either the Sony F60M or the Elinchrome system (on location the ELB 400)
Feedback
Get crazy with colors using different color palettes and capture some cool stuff.
