I love the reflection of the ring light in the eyes! It makes the image look alien and menacing.

Behind The Lens

Location
This picture was created in my homestudio. Things needed: Male Model - Black background and ringlight (75W) - Post Prod. with Photoshop
Time
Time of the day didn't matter because the studio was dark
Lighting
Simple light setup: A ringlight directly in front of the model
Equipment
Canon Eos 7D MKII, 35MM Sigma Art, no tripod, Ringlight 75W
Inspiration
I just took a portrait and in the post processing while experimenting with the colors this came up.
Editing
Like every picture i cleaned the skin and did some dogdge and burn. Also the colors came out while trying out a color correction.
In my camera bag
I now have a Sony 7AR II with a 35mm 1.4 a 55mm 1.8 and a 70-200mm 2.8 lens.
Feedback
Just buy an "cheap" ringlight and take this kind of images. It's very simple
