Congratulations on winning the People's Choice award in my Water Drops on Glass Challenge. This was also one of my favorites.

The photo is taken..you guessed it...in Paris, France after my wife and I went to the Old Lady and in the worst of showers ran for shelter that wasn't to be found anywhere...not much discussion/debate regarding buying an umbrella at the exit where a crowd of 'entrepreneurs' had appeared the exact second the very first drop of rain fell..:O).... Scouting the nearby streets for a taxi was an almost impossible task as everybody wanted out of the rain still falling heavily on us all...and what luck...to get a taxi and to get this view of the Eiffel Tower through the sunroof ...my normal camera at the time (Nikon D5500) was in the backpack and this photo is thus taken with my Samsung mobile.Time
The photo is taken around nine o´clock in the evening...May 25, 2018.Lighting
Not much information to give here...as we drove by the Eiffel Tower in the taxi hearing the rain falling on the roof I noticed that the tower could be seen through the sunroof and made a mobile shot of the scene...the reflections of the lights in the water drops on the sunroof and the sight of the tower itself on the black background of the darkened skies is what I liked the most in the photo.Equipment
Samsung mobile phone.Inspiration
Opportunity most of all.Editing
No post processing besides a slight crop was made.In my camera bag
I carry the Nikon D850, a NIKON NIKKOR AF-S 20MM F/1.8G ED, the NIKON AF-S 24-70MM 2,8E ED and the TAMRON SP 150-600 F:5,6/6,3 DI VC USD NIKON....a pile of Lee ND and Grad filters... and all the other tiny photo-stuff we all carry. I am currently considering a tilt/shift lens...but they are very expensive and chances are that I wouldn't use that lens enough to justify the expense...but again...we´ll see.Feedback
Be ready to take photos at all hours in the day, in the evening and early in the morning (in short: at all times!). As the right light, the right scene and the right atmosphere will change and may disappear, but not if you are there to capture the moment for all of us to see and enjoy. With this photo the moment was created by opportunity and by me.
