Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken on my local beach in Courtown Co. Wexford. It was an early start to capture this shot.
Time
It was early about 6am
Lighting
I used a 0.6 soft edge nd filter, to level out the exposure
Equipment
I used my Nikon D5300 and Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 lens, also manfrotto tripod.
Inspiration
I love doing long exposure photo's and like getting out early in the morning, sunrise is a great time to be out and nice and peaceful.
Editing
Lightroom was used in post production, reducing highlights and increasing vibrance and of coarse straightening the horizon. not too much done to the photo.
In my camera bag
Nikon D5300, Nikon D7200, Sigma 17-50mm f2.8, and Tamron 70-300 f4. Lee filter 105mm circular polariser, Lee big stopper, Lee soft grad 0.6 nd filter

Use different shutter speeds to get the best results, this photo was taken at 1/2 sec exposure and at f22
