Behind The Lens

Location

Took this shot inside our house late in the afternoon as there was some light getting into the sala from a big window...

Time

It was around 4:30 pm..

Lighting

A small streak of light hits the subject from the side but not the background..

Equipment

No flash, just natural light...the camera ? A lumix lx3 on a tripod....

Inspiration

The keyboard was a gift from my son to be used for my music ministry....To show my appreciation i decided to show the unit by my side making a portrait of myself too..

Editing

The shot was in color, but converted to black and white using the black and white keys and my own expression for impact....I think this is the best self portrait i have ever taken....

In my camera bag

I used old film vintage nikons like Fm2, F100 and an old nikon D40 which is still operational and compatible with my old lenses and the Lumix Lx3 given by my daughter as she moved to higher mirrorless Fuji cameras..

Feedback

The light is the prime importance ...the graphics and lines will give more impact and off course the subject's expression on the face.....
