Sometimes you get lucky. This hawk was sitting on the power wire as I walked slowly to get a better angle to photograph it. Just as I brought my camera up to my eye it chose to swoop into the field beneath it. I caught this shot just as it left the wire. the skies were overcast and drizzly.
