As we climbed higher towards Emory peak, we kept getting these great views of the sides of Casa Grande. This is nearly my maximum zoom and it's hard to get a sense of scale.
Look at the top right notch in the peak. There is a dead Pine tree there to give you an idea of the size of this promontory. On the left you can easily see some oak and pine as well.
This is taken from about half a mile away from Casa Grande, possibly further. It's hard to tell the distances with the incredible scale and high altitude.
