Along with the Petroglyphs we found (not discovered) I did encounter a large 'stand' of cacti that I discovered are listed as rare to encounter. These are Opuntia stirgil or Marble Fruit Prickly Pear.

According to the cacti guide this particular specie is pretty uncommon.
