Breathtaking.
A turning point frozen. On the cusp. Fantastic tension.

Location
This photo was taken at the "Lac Autier" in Mercantour national park. South of french Alps.Time
An aftermonn late winter, in the solitude of the storm. It was the only opening with the desired atmosphere.Lighting
I just wanted a dramatic light to reveal this winter storm atmosphere.Equipment
Canon 5D MKII with tripod and 16-35mm f2.8 lens.Inspiration
I was looking for a very dramatic atmosphere and indirect light. I think it's the search for lonelinesd in the storm that inspires me the most in photography. "In search of clarity."Editing
Advanced black & white processing. In my camera bag
I always have with me a wide angle Canon 16-35mm f2.8L, one of my telephoto lenses 70-200mm or 100-400mm f4.5/5.6L IS. Several polarizing and gray-gradient filters and a tripod. All mountain equipment required.Feedback
Observed your environment with curiosity. The most important thing is to not hesitate to go outside the frame of the photography rules. Be bold ! No guts no glory.
